NOVATHANE HAND / WRIST STABILIZATION ORTHOSES

NOVATHANE orthoses are made of elastic fabric and feature a zipper and a zip puller to facilitate application. They are designed for single-patient use and provide stabilization for the wrist and/or hand. These textile orthoses are available in standard sizes.

A semi-rigid polyurethane foam is poured into the orthosis by a healthcare professional, allowing it to set according to the patient’s morphology and in the most suitable position. This process ensures optimum efficiency and ease of use.

NOVAWRIST

Forearm orthosis with a thumb opening. Immobilization of the wrist joint.

NOVARHIZ

Forearm and thumb orthosis. Immobilization of the wrist joint and thumb column.

NOVAHAND

Forearm and hand orthosis. Resting hand orthosis.

Resin

The thermosetting resin consists of a resin and a hardener. A flexible, airtight packaging allows for the storage of these two components.

Accessories

To facilitate the application of the stabilization orthosis by the healthcare professional, a pouring kit as well as two sizes of rollers are available. The ring, magnifier and clamp help keep the orthosis open while the resin is poured. The roller is used to evenly distribute the resin inside the orthosis.
