NOVASPINE immobilization corsets are made from elastic fabric and feature an adjustable anterior closure for easy fitting. The textile components used are certified to Oeko-tex® Standard 100, an independent testing and certification system for textile products. NOVATEX MEDICAL NOVASPINE immobilization corsets are single-patient devices. These stabilize the back. Two models are available: NOVASPINE ST with one filling bag and NOVASPINE BD with two separate filling bags. The corsets can be produced in three heights, at the apex of the spinous processes, from D12, D9 or D6, and are available in standard sizes.
A rigid or semi-rigid thermosetting resin is used to mold the back to the patient’s surface morphology, making the final device perfectly adapted to the patient’s morphology.
