SPINAL IMMOBILIZATION CORSET

NOVASPINE immobilization corsets are made of elastic fabric and feature an adjustable front closure for easier application. The textile components used are certified according to the Oeko-Tex Standard 100, an independent testing and certification system for textile products. NOVATEX MEDICAL NOVASPINE immobilization corsets are singe-patient devices designed to provide back stabilization. They are available in three standard heights – corresponding to the spinous process levels of D12, D9, or D6, and are available in standard sizes.

A rigid or semi-rigid thermosetting resin is used to create a back mold that conforms to the patient’s surface morphology, ensuring the final device fits the patient’s body precisely.

The resin contains polyols and a hardener. These two components are stored in hermetically sealed flexible packaging.
Accessories
Two sizes of rollers are available for mixing the two components in the bag and to evenly distribute the resin in the corset.
