SPINAL IMMOBILIZATION CORSET

NOVASPINE

NOVASPINE immobilization corsets are made from elastic fabric and feature an adjustable front closure to facilitate donning. The textile components used are certified OEKO-TEX® Standard 100, an independent testing and certification system for textile products.

NOVASPINE immobilization corsets are single-patient devices ensuring optimal back stabilization. They are available in standard sizes and three heights corresponding to the spinous processes of T12, T9, or T6.

A rigid or semi-rigid thermosetting resin is used to mold the back according to the patient’s morphology. The final device is therefore perfectly adapted to their anatomy.

NOVASPINE BIVALVE

NOVASPINE bivalve corsets are indicated in cases of:

  • Stable thoracolumbar fractures without neurological, traumatological, or pathological involvement.
  • Protection following thoracolumbar surgery.
 

They are designed to limit anteroposterior and lateral flexion.

NOVASPINE BV corsets cover the thoracolumbar region (BV2), reaching at least up to the T6 vertebra, or cover at least up to the sternum (BV1).

Available in:

  • 2 colors: blue or black
  • 2 models: BV1 and BV2

resin
The resin consists of polyols and a hardener. A flexible, airtight packaging allows for the storage of these two components.
Accessories
Two sizes of rollers are available for mixing the 2 components inside the pouch and for evenly distributing the resin inside the corset.
